Longview 2 gains seal of approval from the Panama Canal Company
Following thorough testing in Panama, VIT Security Group is delighted to announce that their Longview 2 long range surveillance solution has been approved by the Engineering Team at the Panama Canal Company.
With a particular requirement to be able to observe activity in the canal, often in fog and at ranges in excess of 8km, Longview 2 was subject to a rigorous test routine to determine its technical (long range, low visibility and low power) capability and environmental fit.
These tests were carried out by VIT in association with Blue Max Lighting & Emergency Equipment Ltd.
