The Longview 2 uses:
• 520 Line Colour hi-res colour camera 0.1 lux for daytime and well lit areas
• 0.00003 lux Ultra-Low-Light camera unit 570 lines TV resolution and night mode 1+2
• VIT Fog Camera 570 TV lines 0.012 lux, 15db real time contrast correction
The left hand image is an overview camera with the target visible in the
centre. The right hand image shows the target – the light on the breakwater
– at 2km.
The right hand image shows a close up view of a ship on the horizon at over
10km from the camera – not visible in the overview image on the left.
The Longview 2 benefits from the following upgraded features:
- Provision of overview (spotting camera) with cross hairs to simplify long range use
- IP66 rated housing
- Improved stepper motor for greater pan and tilt accuracy and protective clutch mechanism.
- 3 camera electronic switching
- Additional 25 preset positions (taking total to 30 preset positions)
- VIT high resolution control system or integration to Pelco and other telemetry standards
- Additional space for optional cooling accessories
- Expansion to have on-screen display of compass heading, camera identity and zoom level
- Available in choice of colour finishes and camouflage effects
